The Buffalo Bills secured their second consecutive win on Sunday, defeating the Tennessee Titans 34-10.
Despite the comfortable victory, several key players suffered injuries during the game.
Linebacker Terrel Bernard, who has already missed several games this season, left the field twice—first with a head injury and later with an ankle injury.
Fellow linebacker Dorian Williams also exited the game in the second half due to a knee injury but managed to return.
On the offensive side, wide receiver Curtis Samuel played only two snaps before leaving with a shoulder injury and did not return.
Following the game, head coach Sean McDermott provided an update on the injured players heading into the practice week. “We’ll see how they do.
Really no updates at this point,” McDermott said. “We’ll see how the week trends with all three of those guys.”
Losing Bernard and Williams would be a significant blow for the Bills.
Williams currently ranks fourth in the NFL in tackles, while Bernard is fourth on the team despite missing two games this season.
If either or both are sidelined, Buffalo could face a substantial gap in the middle of their defense.
Samuel’s injury, while less impactful, still affects the team’s depth at receiver. He has seen his role diminish after the Bills acquired Amari Cooper last week.
However, if Samuel is unable to play, Buffalo would lose some depth at the position, which could be critical as the season progresses.
