NASCAR Hall of Fame and Toyota Team Up to Support Military Veterans with a Big Donation

The NASCAR Hall of Fame and Toyota have partnered for the “Holidays for Heroes” initiative, running from November 11 to December 14, 2024, to support active-duty and veteran military families during the holiday season.

Visitors to the NASCAR Hall of Fame can contribute by making monetary donations on-site. In appreciation, donors have the opportunity to write personalized messages on a specially wrapped 2025 Toyota Tundra displayed in the Great Hall, symbolically “Trimming the Toyota.”

All proceeds from the campaign will be donated to Veterans Bridge Home, a Charlotte-based nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting military personnel and their families with community resources, assisting with employment, social connections, and family integration.

As part of the initiative, Toyota and the NASCAR Hall of Fame have distributed 500 tickets to military families and guests, with Toyota matching visitor donations. On December 14, 2024, Xfinity Series Toyota driver William Sawalich participated in a check presentation ceremony, further highlighting the community’s support for military families.

Winston Kelley, Executive Director of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, emphasized the significance of the initiative, stating, “NASCAR has always had a special tie with the military and our armed servicemen and women. We are honored that the NASCAR Hall of Fame and our guests can play a small role in giving back to military members who have sacrificed so much for our country.”

This collaboration underscores NASCAR’s longstanding relationship with the military, reflecting a shared commitment to honoring and supporting those who have served the nation.
