Spire Motorsports has chosen not to renew its partnership with Rev Racing for the upcoming 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. This decision concludes a collaboration that began in 2023, during which Spire Motorsports provided equipment and personnel to support Rev Racing’s No. 2 Chevrolet entry.
A representative from Spire Motorsports confirmed the development, stating, “The agreement between Spire and Rev Racing expired at the end of the 2024 season. Spire elected not to pursue a renewal of that agreement and enter a fourth Spire Motorsports truck in 2025.”
The No. 2 Chevrolet, driven by Nick Sanchez, achieved commendable results during the partnership, including a fifth-place finish in the 2024 year-end championship standings. As the agreement concludes, Spire Motorsports and Rev Racing are actively discussing the future of the owner points associated with the No. 2 truck.
In a related development, Reaume Brothers Racing has announced the acquisition of the No. 2 truck for the upcoming season. This transition has prompted questions regarding Rev Racing’s future plans in the Truck Series. As of now, Rev Racing has not issued a statement outlining its intentions for the 2025 season.
Spire Motorsports, established in 2018 and co-owned by NASCAR industry executives Jeff Dickerson and Thaddeus “T.J.” Puchyr, continues to be a prominent presence in NASCAR. The team is now focusing on its strategies and entries for the 2025 season.
As the 2025 season approaches, the NASCAR community is keenly observing how both organizations will navigate this transition and what it will mean for their respective futures in the sport.
