Ryan Truex is set to kick off the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season with a new opportunity, as he climbs behind the wheel of the No. 24 BB Printing Co. Toyota GR Supra for Sam Hunt Racing at Daytona International Speedway.

The season-opening race, set for February 17, marks Truex’s latest chance to compete in the Xfinity Series, where he has showcased strong performances in limited starts over the years. Partnering with Sam Hunt Racing (SHR), one of the sport’s emerging Xfinity teams, Truex will look to make an immediate impact at one of NASCAR’s most unpredictable tracks.
A Strong Fit for Sam Hunt Racing
Truex, the younger brother of NASCAR Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr., has built a reputation as a versatile and competitive driver in the Xfinity Series. His most notable moment came in 2023, when he secured his first career Xfinity win at Dover, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing.
Now, joining Sam Hunt Racing, he brings veteran experience and superspeedway skill to a team that continues to make strides in NASCAR’s second-tier series. The No. 24 Toyota will carry BB Printing Co. as its primary sponsor, highlighting another growing partnership for SHR.
“Daytona is always a wild card, but we’re coming in with confidence,” Truex said. “I’m excited to work with Sam Hunt Racing and represent BB Printing Co. in one of the biggest races of the year.”
Can Truex Contend for a Daytona Victory?
Superspeedway racing is known for its tight packs, unpredictable wrecks, and surprise winners. Truex has plenty of experience at Daytona and Talladega, and with the right strategy, he could be in position for a strong result—or even a win to start the season.

For Sam Hunt Racing, which has been building its Xfinity program steadily over the past few seasons, Truex’s presence adds another layer of experience and leadership to the team. If things fall the right way, SHR could find itself in contention for its first-ever Xfinity Series victory.
As the countdown to Daytona Speedweeks begins, all eyes will be on Ryan Truex and the No. 24 team, as they look to kick off 2024 with a statement in the NASCAR Xfinity Series opener.
