The Houston Texans have agreed to trade Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil and a fourth-round pick to the Washington Commanders in exchange for second-, third-, and fourth-round selections, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Tunsil, a five-time Pro Bowler, has been a cornerstone of the Texans’ offensive line since his acquisition from the Miami Dolphins in 2019. His consistent performance has solidified his reputation as one of the premier left tackles in the NFL.

This move provides the Commanders with a significant upgrade at the left tackle position, aiming to bolster their offensive line and enhance quarterback protection. For the Texans, the trade offers valuable draft capital, signaling a potential strategic shift toward rebuilding and future planning.

The transaction reflects both teams’ efforts to address key roster needs and optimize their positions for upcoming seasons.
