The Tennessee Titans’ 2025 roster is beginning to take shape, though not necessarily in a dominant way. As the first week of the 2025 NFL free agency draws to a close, the Titans have made additions across nearly every position, removed significant players from last year’s lineup, and set aside some key needs for April’s NFL draft, where they hold the No. 1 overall pick.
With the recent changes, let’s explore what the Titans’ depth chart may look like as they head into OTAs and minicamp. Here’s the latest projection from The Tennessean for the Titans’ 2025 roster.
Quarterback (2)
- Will Levis
- Brandon Allen
The Titans will need a standout from the draft, whether it’s Cam Ward at No. 1 or Shedeur Sanders later on, to create a more competitive and exciting team than last year’s.
Running Back (2)
- Tony Pollard
- Tyjae Spears
There may be plans to add a power back through free agency or the draft, but for now, this position remains unchanged.
Wide Receiver (4)
- Calvin Ridley
- Treylon Burks
- Van Jefferson
- Bryce Oliver
The Titans must improve this lineup, as Burks’ reliability is uncertain and Jefferson is not a strong No. 2 option. They either need to acquire another veteran or invest draft picks to strengthen this group.
Tight End (2)
- Chig Okonkwo
- Josh Whyle
No modifications here, but another veteran could be brought in to enhance this position.
Offensive Tackle (5)
- Dan Moore Jr.
- JC Latham
- John Ojukwu
- Nicholas Petit-Frere
- Jaelyn Duncan
Moore is expected to take over left tackle, with Latham moving to right tackle. Other players from last year will compete for available spots.
Guard/Center (5)
- Peter Skoronski
- Lloyd Cushenberry III
- Kevin Zeitler
- Blake Hance
- Andrew Rupcich
Zeitler steps in for Dillon Radunz. While depth is lacking, there are experienced players available if needed.
Defensive Interior (4)
- Jeffery Simmons
- T’Vondre Sweat
- Sebastian Joseph-Day
- Keondre Coburn
No changes here from last season, maintaining the defense’s strength.
Edge Defenders (3)
- Dre’Mont Jones
- Arden Key
- Jaylen Harrell
This area needs significant reinforcement from the draft and via veterans. Jones is a start but isn’t sufficient alone.
Inside Linebackers (4)
- Cody Barton
- Otis Reese IV
- Cedric Gray
- James Williams
Gray and Williams must show considerable improvement in their second year, or the Titans may need to add more competition for the inside linebacker position, especially with Barton taking over for Kenneth Murray Jr., who was traded to Dallas.
Cornerbacks (5)
- L’Jarius Sneed
- Jarvis Brownlee Jr.
- Roger McCreary
- Chidobe Awuzie
- Darrell Baker Jr.
Aside from health concerns, this group is solid and well-rounded. The main issue lies in how the Titans will manage Brownlee, Awuzie, and McCreary when Sneed is fit to play.
Safety (3)
- Xavier Woods
- Amani Hooker
- Mike Brown
Woods, replacing Quandre Diggs, signifies a similar setup to last year, but he may provide an upgrade.
Specialists (2)
- Johnny Hekker
- Morgan Cox
There is currently no kicker on the roster. A return for Nick Folk isn’t off the table, but the Titans will take their time with this decision.
Tennessee Titans Roster Assessment
Currently, the roster comprises only 41 players, leaving significant gaps, particularly at receiver and within the defensive front seven. The crucial need for a starting quarterback also hangs in the balance, especially as the draft approaches.
With eight picks in April’s draft, the Titans have the opportunity to fill out their roster more completely. Additional signings in free agency will be necessary to supplement young players as they develop.
