Watch as Stephen Curry makes history by becoming the first player in the NBA to hit 4,000 three-pointers.

It’s appropriate that the basket came from a shot where Stephen Curry had to move a few steps — showcasing one of his smooth shooting abilities that has led him to this achievement.

With a 3-pointer in the third quarter, where Malik Monk made him adjust his shot — and he had to get it off while surrounded by defenders — Curry became the first player in NBA history to make 4,000 three-pointers. The crowd went wild during the next timeout, and a video tribute was shown on the scoreboard.

Curry became the all-time leading 3-point scorer in NBA history in December 2021 when he surpassed Ray Allen’s previous record of 2,973 made 3-pointers. Among active players, James Harden is in second place with 3,127 threes, while Bucks star Damian Lillard follows with 2,794.
