August 10, 2025 – Halmar Friesen Racing has announced that Canadian short-track standout Cole Butcher will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut behind the wheel of the No. 62 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 11, during the UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics  .

The 24-year-old from Hantsport, Nova Scotia, is no stranger to high-stakes racing. A two-time Oxford 250 winner and a dominant force in the ASA STARS National Tour—where he’s notched four wins this season and leads the points standings—Butcher arrives with an impressive résumé that has clearly caught the eyes of NASCAR team owners  .
