Florida – May 17, 2025
Former NFL All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown was arrested Saturday night following a violent altercation at popular streamer Adin Ross’ boxing event in Florida. According to eyewitness reports and early law enforcement statements, Brown allegedly brandished a firearm and discharged it during a scuffle involving several individuals who were reportedly attempting to steal his chain.

The chaotic incident unfolded just outside the main event area, where dozens of fans, influencers, and high-profile guests had gathered for the highly publicized match. Witnesses say a confrontation quickly escalated when a group attempted to forcibly remove Brown’s jewelry. In response, Brown allegedly pulled out a gun and fired shots in the air to fend off the assailants.
Police quickly responded to the scene and took Brown into custody without further incident. No injuries have been reported at this time, but the event was temporarily disrupted as attendees were ushered to safety.
Brown, 36, has had a controversial post-NFL career marked by legal issues, public outbursts, and erratic behavior. Once considered one of the most talented receivers in the league, his off-field actions have repeatedly made headlines since his departure from professional football.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident, reviewing footage from the venue and interviewing witnesses. Brown is expected to face multiple charges, including unlawful discharge of a firearm and reckless endangerment.
Adin Ross, the host of the event, has yet to issue a formal statement, but sources close to the influencer say he was not directly involved in the incident and is cooperating with authorities.
