Buffalo Bills star pass-rusher Von Miller has been suspended.

The NFL on Tuesday announced a four-game suspension for Miller that stems from a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy. Miller will be eligible for reinstatement following Buffalo’s Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Late last year, Von Miller faced a felony charge for allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman, leading to a warrant for his arrest.

After turning himself in, police documents revealed that Miller’s girlfriend claimed he became physically violent during an argument, reportedly choking her and pulling her by the hair.

In a 911 call, she told the dispatcher that Miller was “choking and hitting” her, adding that she had “bruises all over” and that her hair had been pulled out. When officers arrived, they observed visible injuries.

Later, the woman recanted her statement, claiming that “things were blown way out of context” and denying the assault. As a result, prosecutors decided not to press charges against Miller.

Despite these legal troubles, the 35-year-old linebacker has continued to perform on the field this season, recording 3 sacks and 5 tackles in just four games.
