Eagles star named as a finalist for the Defensive Player of the Year award.

The Philadelphia Eagles had an amazing regular season, and this might earn them some trophies.

In just a few days, Philadelphia will compete against the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.

If the Eagles win and advance to the Super Bowl, they could receive a Vince Lombardi Trophy as a reward.

Additionally, some individuals may also receive recognition. The Associated Press announced the finalists for the National Football League’s biggest awards of the season, and Philadelphia had a strong presence.

A highlight is that rising star linebacker Zack Baun was selected as a finalist for the Defensive Player Of The Year Award.

Baun joined the Eagles this past offseason after spending four years primarily as a backup with the New Orleans Saints.

He stepped into the Eagles’ starting lineup, and what followed was unexpected.

This year, Baun was arguably the top linebacker in football and played a key role in making Philadelphia’s defense the best in the National Football League.

He ended the regular season with one interception, four passes defended, five forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, 3.5 sacks, 151 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, and earned spots on the All-Pro first team and the Pro Bowl.

Baun has had an amazing season, and he could earn even more recognition. Let’s hope the Eagles can agree on a new contract with him after the season ends.
