Hostilities will be renewed in Week 8 between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders, as Patrick Mahomes and his team aim to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
The Chiefs are currently sitting comfortably at 6-0, but what may be concerning for their opponents is that Andy Reid’s squad has yet to fully hit their stride.
Interestingly, the Raiders are the only team to have defeated the Chiefs in their last 12 games, a streak that dates back to Week 16 of the 2023 season.
Mahomes has shared that the 20-14 loss at Arrowhead Stadium served as a wake-up call, sparking the Chiefs’ ongoing winning run, which they are determined to extend as they head into Week 8.
“I think it was just a wakeup call for us to know that we’re not going to be able to just come to the game and win,” Mahomes said.
