Kirby-Joseph React to Former Lions QB Criticism on Kirby Interceptions…

Kirby-Joseph didn’t handle the ball he intercepted from Matthew Stafford.
In an appearance on the Up and Adams Show on September 27, Joseph talked about the need to save the ball from its interceptions. However, he said he did not keep the ball he intercepted from Stafford, preferring to give it to a director of security from the Detroit Lions organization.
“I don’t want it. “I don’t want it in my house,” Joseph told host Kay Adams on the show. “There is no evil energy in my house.”

Also in the conversation, Joseph talked about how he reads the refs during the game, saying, “I’m always watching the refs. It’s all kind of slow. It’s going everywhere. he said, there I go. “He will drive me to the ball because he is the fourth.”

Both Joseph and Stafford are capable and talented players, so hopefully they will be able to play again.

The Los Angeles Rams are 1-3 after Week 4. The former Detroit Lions quarterback talked about his frustrations with the Rams’ record and their Week 4 loss to the Chicago Bears in the postgame press conference.

“You know, I think (we can) figure out where we can get better and get back to work and enjoy the opportunity to play another game at home,” he said. said Stafford. “You know, they bite when you’re gone. It’s sad. I don’t really want to be here talking to you, you know? And there’s a lot of things that are frustrating about losses… but come Monday, time to move on and find a way to get a win next week.”

Stafford also addressed the team’s red zone issues, stating, “We can’t sit there and go, ‘Hey, next time we get the ball, let’s make sure we score a touchdown in the red zone.’ Well, you got to get there first, right?”

He added, “(In the red zone) the field gets smaller, windows get tighter, blocking assignments, all that kind of stuff, just everything kind of condenses down. You just got to be, you know, that much better.”

In a September 29 feature for Turf Show Times, JB Scott echoed Stafford’s frustrations on the red zone, stating, “On a day where the Rams outgained the Bears in terms of yards 322 to 264, poor situational football, a lack of execution in the red zone, and turnovers cost them this victory.”
