Austin Cindric has had a busy January after being called as a late replacement for the Rolex 24 at Daytona

Austin Cindric has had a busy January after being called as a late replacement for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, shortening his NASCAR offseason.

He stepped in for Ben Barker, who broke his collarbone while skiing.

Cindric, who has competed in the Rolex 24 five times before, had to cut his offseason short and prepare for the 24-hour race, which involves a lot of preparation.

Cindric expressed his enthusiasm for the race, mentioning his close relationship with Ford Performance and how he likes his co-drivers.

Despite a busy schedule, he is passionate about the race and views it as a perfect fit.

Known for his road course skills in NASCAR, Cindric has had success in the Truck Series and Xfinity Series on road courses.

Mike Rockenfeller put Cindric’s team on pole for the Rolex 24, leading the GTD Pro field to the start.

The race promises to be long and challenging, but it’s a good warm-up for Cindric ahead of the Daytona 500.

He hopes to add another Daytona 500 championship to his name.

Team Penske has seen a lot of success recently, with three straight Cup Series championships and dominance across various motorsports.

Cindric aims to start his 2025 season with a class win, relying on his team’s quick car to perform well over the 24-hour race.
