Conner Jones, a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver, has reportedly parted ways with ThorSport Racing ahead of the 2025 season.
This development follows a controversial incident during the 2024 season in which Jones was suspended for intentionally wrecking fellow competitor Matt Mills during the Homestead race.
In October 2024, during the Homestead-Miami Speedway event, Jones deliberately collided with Mills, causing a severe crash that resulted in Mills’ vehicle catching fire and his subsequent hospitalization.
NASCAR officials responded by parking Jones for two laps during the race and issuing a one-race suspension for the following event at Martinsville.
