The announcement was made during the 50th running of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. The formal induction ceremony will take place on March 9–10, 2026, at the MSHFA’s home in Daytona Beach, Florida .

Earnhardt Jr.‘s career spans nearly two decades in the NASCAR Cup Series, during which he secured 26 victories, including two Daytona 500 wins in 2004 and 2014. He was also named NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver for 15 consecutive years from 2003 to 2017, a testament to his widespread appeal among fans .
