Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) has officially sold out all camping spots for the 2025 Indianapolis 500, three weeks ahead of last year’s pace. The early sellout is yet another sign of the race’s growing popularity and continued strong ticket sales.
Parking and ticket demand remain high, with IMS officials reporting significant year-over-year growth. Earlier this month, IMS President Doug Boles noted that ticket sales were already 10,000 ahead of the 2024 race at the same point in time. Last year’s event was on track for a sellout before an unfavorable weather forecast slowed last-minute sales.

Parking & tickets continue to sell well, too. Earlier in March, @jdouglas4 said IMS was 10,000 tickets ahead of '24, which would've sold out without the crummy weather forecast.
This year, enthusiasm for “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” is showing no signs of slowing down. The sold-out camping suggests race fans are planning their trips to the Speedway earlier, eager to be part of the historic Memorial Day Weekend tradition.
With this level of demand, IMS could be on track for one of its biggest crowds in years. Fans who haven’t yet secured their tickets may need to act fast as the race on May 25 approaches.
