Live Fast Motorsports Prepares for Daytona 500 with No. 78 Chevy Camaro

The No. 78 Chevrolet Camaro from Live Fast Motorsports is set to hit the track at Daytona International Speedway for the 2024 Daytona 500. The team, co-owned by B.J. McLeod and Matt Tifft, will compete in NASCAR’s biggest race with sponsorship from GoHitchGO and Superior Logistics Service Inc.

A New Chapter for Live Fast Motorsports

After previously fielding Ford entries, Live Fast Motorsports made the switch to Chevrolet for the 2024 season, aligning with ECR Engines for their power under the hood. The team is looking to make a statement in their Daytona 500 campaign, where strategy, drafting, and survival all play crucial roles in the race’s outcome.

“We’re excited to bring our No. 78 Chevy Camaro down to Daytona,” the team said. “Huge thanks to GoHitchGO and Superior Logistics Service Inc. for coming on board to support us this week.”

A Fight to Make the 500

With NASCAR’s charter system, some teams are locked into the Daytona 500 field, while others must race their way in through qualifying and the Duel races. Live Fast Motorsports, a former chartered team, faces a challenge as they attempt to secure a spot in The Great American Race through on-track performance.

Sponsorship Partners on Board

• GoHitchGO specializes in towing and trailer hitch solutions, making them a fitting partner for a race team that hauls their cars and equipment across the country all season long.

• Superior Logistics Service Inc. brings their expertise in freight and transportation, a crucial component in NASCAR’s cross-country schedule.

All Eyes on Daytona

The Daytona 500 is set for Sunday, February 18, 2024, and Live Fast Motorsports will be battling hard to make the final field. With drafting tactics and superspeedway strategy in play, anything is possible—including the chance for an underdog team to steal the spotlight on NASCAR’s biggest stage.
