In a historic collaboration between streaming giants, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video have joined forces to produce a $15.5 million documentary chronicling the legacy, drama, and raw power of America’s most iconic dirt track—Eldora Speedway. Set to spotlight the legendary Tony Stewart and dirt track rebel Scott Bloomquist, the film promises to deliver an unforgettable ride through the mud, myths, and motorsports history of a racing institution.
“From Dirt to Dynasty” – The Eldora Story
Titled From Dirt to Dynasty, the documentary will peel back the layers of Eldora Speedway’s legacy, a half-mile clay oval located in Rossburg, Ohio, which has been a mecca for grassroots racing since its founding in 1954. Once just a small-town track, Eldora has grown into a cultural and competitive powerhouse, drawing thousands of fans and some of the biggest names in motorsports.
Tony Stewart, three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and current owner of Eldora Speedway, is not only featured but also signed on as an executive producer. According to Stewart, this project has been in the works for over a year and aims to “preserve and celebrate the soul of dirt racing.”

Scott Bloomquist: The Controversial Legend
Alongside Stewart, the film will also feature in-depth interviews and exclusive footage of Scott Bloomquist, the enigmatic and controversial late model racing icon known as much for his rebellious attitude as for his unmatched skill on the track. Love him or hate him, Bloomquist’s presence will add a raw, unfiltered edge to the documentary.
Producers are promising a “warts-and-all” portrayal—one that doesn’t shy away from the rivalries, setbacks, and behind-the-scenes drama that shaped these men and the track itself.
