In a move sure to delight racing fans, @SportsonPrime has unveiled new and expanded coverage plans for the next five NASCAR Cup Series races, promising an immersive, uninterrupted viewing experience like never before.
At the heart of the announcement is the commitment to a double-box format during every commercial break, eliminating the frustration of full-screen ads. Instead of cutting away from the action entirely, fans will continue to see the race unfold in one window while commercials play in another—ensuring they miss none of the pivotal moments on track.
“We’re here for the fans. We want them to stay in the race, even during the ads,” a spokesperson for Prime said.
Beyond the upgraded ad experience, Prime Video will deploy more than 70 cameras at each event, dramatically increasing the number of angles available to viewers. This includes onboard cameras, pit lane coverage, aerial drones, and more immersive replay options—designed to give fans a closer, more comprehensive view of every turn, pit stop, and photo finish.
This enhanced approach represents a major investment by Prime in its motorsports broadcasting strategy and could signal a broader shift in how racing is presented to audiences across streaming platforms.
The double-box commercial format and expanded camera deployment will roll out beginning with this weekend’s race, and feedback from fans and teams will be closely monitored as Prime continues to refine its NASCAR coverage.
With this innovation, Prime positions itself at the forefront of fan-first broadcasting in motorsports, delivering a more connected and dynamic race-day experience.
