Road Ranger Shifts NASCAR Sponsorship to Xfinity Series with Sheldon Creed and Haas Factory Team

In a significant move within the NASCAR sponsorship landscape, Road Ranger has transitioned its primary sponsorship from ThorSport Racing’s Truck Series program to the NASCAR Xfinity Series, backing Sheldon Creed and the Haas Factory Team. Road Ranger will serve as the primary sponsor for 13 races on Creed’s No. 14 Ford Mustang throughout the 2024 season, marking a new chapter for both the company and the driver.

Road Ranger’s Statement on the Change

Road Ranger, a well-known travel center brand, had been a staple partner in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with ThorSport Racing. However, the company sees greater opportunities in the Xfinity Series, especially with Creed, a former Truck Series champion looking for his first breakthrough win at the Xfinity level.

“The Xfinity Series presents an exciting new platform for us, and we believe in the potential of Sheldon Creed and Haas Factory Team,” a Road Ranger representative stated. “Sheldon has proven himself as a competitor, and we’re confident that together, we can make an impact both on and off the track.”

Creed’s New Chapter with Haas Factory Team

Creed’s move to Haas Factory Team in 2024 was already one of the most talked-about offseason changes, and Road Ranger’s sponsorship further strengthens his program. After two seasons at Richard Childress Racing, Creed joined Haas Factory Team as they transitioned from Stewart-Haas Racing’s Xfinity program into a standalone effort under Gene Haas.

“Having Road Ranger on board for 13 races is a huge deal for us,” Creed said. “I’m grateful for their support, and I’m looking forward to representing them as we chase wins this season.”

Kicking Off at COTA

The Road Ranger No. 14 Ford Mustang will make its debut this weekend at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), a track where Creed has shown strong road-course racing skills in the past. With Road Ranger’s backing and the new Haas Factory Team behind him, Creed aims to contend for wins and establish himself as a championship threat in 2024.

This move not only marks a shift in Road Ranger’s NASCAR involvement but also highlights the brand’s commitment to growing with one of the sport’s rising stars. As the season unfolds, all eyes will be on Creed and the Road Ranger-backed No. 14, looking to make a statement in the Xfinity Series.
