Ryan and the 60 Team Surge to 14th in Points After Strong Martinsville Performance!

Ryan Preece and the No. 60 Roush Fenway Keselowski (RFK) Racing team have been making significant strides in the NASCAR Cup Series, with their recent performance at Martinsville Speedway marking a notable highlight. Preece secured a seventh-place finish in the Cook Out 400, held on March 30, 2025, which not only added to his series of strong finishes but also propelled him upward in the driver standings.

Starting from the 21st position due to a challenging qualifying session, Preece demonstrated resilience and strategic acumen throughout the race. During Stage 1, he capitalized on a caution involving teammate Chris Buescher, opting to stay out and gain track position. This decision paid off, as Preece finished the stage in seventh place, earning valuable stage points. Although Stage 2 presented difficulties, with Preece dropping to 23rd, the team’s adjustments during the final stage enabled a remarkable recovery, culminating in a seventh-place finish.

This result marks Preece’s third consecutive top-10 finish in the 2025 season, a personal best in his NASCAR Cup Series career. Reflecting on the achievement, Preece expressed pride in his team’s efforts, stating, “We’re getting on a roll… I hate talking about points, but every bit matters.”

The accumulation of stage points from Stage 1, combined with the seventh-place finish, has significantly impacted Preece’s position in the driver standings. He now sits 14th, with 165 points, just 94 points behind the leader, William Byron.

Preece’s ascent in the standings is a testament to the synergy between driver and team. The No. 60 team’s strategic calls and timely adjustments have been instrumental in navigating the challenges of the season. As the series progresses, maintaining this momentum will be crucial for Preece and his team to solidify their position and aim for further success.

With upcoming races on the horizon, the focus will be on sustaining this upward trajectory. The recent performances have not only boosted Preece’s standings but have also positioned him as a formidable competitor in the NASCAR Cup Series. Fans and analysts alike will be keenly observing how the No. 60 team continues to build upon this success in the races to come.
