🔥 Larson Sets the Tone
Kyle Larson made a statement in his return to Xfinity action. Sliding behind the wheel of the No. 17 Hendrick Motorsports entry, Larson laid down the fastest lap of the session, showcasing not just speed, but surgical precision through the technical road course layout at Indy. His comfort on road courses continues to separate him as one of the most versatile drivers in the sport.
Whether it’s Cup, Xfinity, dirt, or open-wheel—if Larson’s in the car, he’s a threat.
🚀 Youth Movement Surging: Gray & Zilisch Impress
Just behind Larson, young guns Taylor Gray and Connor Zilisch made big waves with blistering laps of their own.
Taylor Gray, piloting the Joe Gibbs Racing entry, looked smooth and aggressive. His top-two time proves he’s adapting quickly to higher-level competition and is one to watch this weekend.
Connor Zilisch continues to build his buzz. Known for his road course prowess, Zilisch looked composed and fast all session long. His third-place time is another sign that the future of NASCAR is in good hands.
💼 Veteran Consistency: Allgaier & Hill Round Out the Five
Justin Allgaier, always a road course contender, clocked in fourth. The JR Motorsports veteran continues to be a model of consistency and is sure to be a major player once race day arrives.
Austin Hill, known more for his strength on superspeedways and ovals, showed his versatility by rounding out the top five. Don’t be surprised if Hill is fighting for a podium finish on Saturday.
