YouTuber Cleetus McFarland to Test with Rette Jones Racing at Daytona

Garrett Mitchell, widely known by his YouTube alias Cleetus McFarland, is set to participate in the ARCA Menards Series pre-race practice at Daytona International Speedway. Mitchell will be testing with Rette Jones Racing, marking a significant step in his motorsport endeavors.

Mitchell has garnered a substantial following on YouTube, boasting over 2.8 million subscribers, through content that showcases automotive projects, racing events, and the transformation of the DeSoto Speedway in Bradenton, Florida, into the “Freedom Factory.”

Beyond his digital presence, Mitchell has accumulated real-world racing experience. In 2022, he made his debut in the Stadium Super Trucks series at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, competing against seasoned drivers in high-powered off-road trucks.

Additionally, Mitchell has participated in dirt track events, including the Bristol Dirt Nationals, where he showcased his versatility by competing in a dirt late model at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The upcoming ARCA test at Daytona presents Mitchell with an opportunity to further develop his stock car racing skills on one of NASCAR’s most iconic tracks.
