Following The loss to The Indiana, Caitlin Clark share her offseason plans…

Caitlin Clark’s rookie season has come to an end following the Indiana Fever’s first-round playoff loss to the Connecticut Sun. Now, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year is sharing her plans for the offseason.

During a media session after Wednesday’s loss, Clark displayed her sense of humor when asked about her future plans.

“I was focused on beating the Connecticut Sun, so I haven’t thought too far ahead,” said Clark, 22. “I don’t know what I’m going to do tomorrow, or the day after.”

She added, “Maybe I’ll play some golf. That’s the plan until it gets too cold in Indiana. I might just become a professional golfer.”

The Fever had hoped to even the best-of-three series, but the game took an intense turn off the court when a fan was escorted out by security following an interaction with Clark.

With 1:29 left in the first quarter, ESPN’s broadcast captured the moment security at Mohegan Sun Arena removed the fan after Clark pointed him out to the referees, appearing to reference something the fan said.

Speaking briefly about the incident with ESPN’s Holly Rowe during halftime, Clark explained her focus on the game.

“My teammates on the court with me, that’s what’s most important,” Clark said.

The series had already been physical, as Clark had sustained a black eye from a play involving Sun guard DiJonai Carrington during Sunday’s game.

Clark later clarified the incident, saying she didn’t believe Carrington, 26, meant to harm her.

“It wasn’t intentional at all. Just watch the play,” Clark told reporters, laughing off suggestions that it was done on purpose.
