Nick Sandler Joins as Competition Director

Nick Sandler, a seasoned NASCAR professional with approximately two decades at Roush Fenway Keselowski (RFK) Racing, has been appointed as HFT’s Competition Director. Sandler’s tenure at RFK included roles as a race engineer and a two-year stint as crew chief for the No. 17 team, working with driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. His extensive experience in team management and engineering is expected to play a pivotal role in HFT’s performance in the forthcoming season.

Xfinity Series Crew Chief Lineup Finalized

In addition to Sandler’s appointment, HFT has confirmed its crew chief lineup for the NASCAR Xfinity Series:

• Jonathan Toney: Continuing his role as crew chief for the No. 00 car, Toney will collaborate with driver Sheldon Creed. Toney brings a wealth of experience, including a championship-winning tenure with Joe Gibbs Racing.

• Jason Trinchere: Joining HFT as the crew chief for the No. 41 car driven by Sam Mayer, Trinchere’s background includes significant roles with Spire Motorsports and Kaulig Racing, where he contributed to both Xfinity and Truck Series successes.

These strategic appointments underscore HFT’s commitment to assembling a robust and experienced team as it transitions from the former Stewart-Haas Racing entity. With a blend of seasoned leadership and technical expertise, HFT aims to make a substantial impact in the 2025 NASCAR season.
