Grace Berger Claps Back at Caitlin Clark’s Golf Skills with Hilarious Instagram Roast

Caitlin Clark took to Instagram on Thursday night to share some of her favorite moments from her highly anticipated golf pro-am debut.

The Indiana Fever star posted a series of photos capturing her incredible experience at The ANNIKA Pro-Am tournament in Belleair, Florida, held on Wednesday.

The post quickly gained traction, racking up nearly 90,000 likes within two hours. It also attracted plenty of comments, including a playful jab from Fever guard Grace Berger.

According to Berger, the photos almost had her convinced that Clark was actually a good golfer—well, almost.

“If I hadn’t seen the video of the shank, these photos would’ve convinced me that you could beat me,” Berger wrote in the comments section.

For some context, Berger was a state champion golfer in high school.

In a recent interview, Clark poked fun at her Fever teammate, joking that Berger might be afraid to play against her.

“Actually, one of my teammates was a state champion golfer, so she’s pretty good,” Clark said. “I haven’t played with her yet.

I think she might be scared or something, I don’t know why. Her game must have gotten rusty when she became a professional basketball player.”

It turns out Berger was simply waiting for the right moment to strike back, and she saw Clark’s Instagram post as the perfect opportunity.

Indiana star Aliyah Boston also joined in on the fun, adding her own comment on Berger’s playful jab.

Just a reminder that ⁦@CaitlinClark22⁩ is, in fact, mortal. She is an absolute delight to follow—engaging with fans, cracking jokes, and having a great time.

Clark is not one to shy away from a bit of friendly banter, so it’s likely she’ll have a response for Berger’s witty remark. Either way, it’s all in good fun.
