New Drivers, Fresh Energy: Haas Aims for Victory Lane in 2025.Driver/Crew Chief Pairings Set for Haas Factory Team
Following the closure of Stewart-Haas Racing at the end of the 2024 season, Gene Haas has announced the formation of the Haas Factory Team.
For 2025, Haas will operate as a single NASCAR Cup Series charter team, with Cole Custer driving in the Cup Series.
Additionally, the team will compete in the Xfinity Series with two entries, driven by Sheldon Creed and Sam Mayer.
The Haas Factory Team will have technical alliances with RSS Racing and AM Racing.
Driver/Crew Chief Pairings
Aaron Kramer, formerly with RFK Racing, will serve as the crew chief for Cole Custer and the No. 41 team in 2025.
Sheldon Creed will be paired with Jonathan Toney, the 2023 championship-winning crew chief who joins the team from Joe Gibbs Racing.
Sam Mayer will team up with Jason Trinchere, a seasoned crew chief with multiple wins to his name.
“That whole [Xfinity] program is looking very similar, and we believe we’ll be starting where we left off,” Joe Custer stated during an interview with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
